Our Vision

We are committed to Jesus’ words found in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

  1. We are committed to sharing the “Good News” of Jesus Christ to all peoples.
  2. We are committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ.
  3. We are committed to baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit those who believe Jesus as Lord and bringing them from outside into our local community.

Christian Education Goals:

“The aim of Christian Education isn’t merely about teaching Christian knowledge, conforming to Christian norms, or morality.  The aim of Christian Education is about guiding people toward a total commitment and love for Jesus Christ.  That love for Christ is the foundation to learning how to know and follow Him.”

July 9, 2000: We are proactively engaged in planning: to prepare in incorporating into our department, our leadership’s overall vision for our church, to understand and establish the Biblical foundations particular to Christian Education, to develop an effective, efficient, and coordinated strategy between parents, teachers, and progressing classes, and to identify, incorporate, prepare, and maintain resources for Christian Education.

From our meetings, we have been identifying fundamental Biblical strategies that God has determined in what our education is about and the means in which they are passed along to His people.

The clear Biblical mandate is that God desires His children to know and love Him and love others as a reflection of His love.   Our responsibility is three-fold toward adults (Deut 6:1-9 & Matt 22:37-39).  Leaders and teachers are instructed to not only teach God’s people to know and love Him, and love others as a reflection of God’s love for us, but also to teach parents to teach their children to know and follow this truth.  God has chosen parent’s to lead and teach their kids to understand and live this truth (Deut 6:5-9; see also “The Role of the Family and the Church” 8/29/99).  This does not mean that the church ignores children altogether, but that it places a priority to help and support parents to become leaders and teachers within their home. Our strategy is to develop an effective, efficient, and coordinated plan with these priorities in mind.
